What it does
Filtered water and three spray settings for your kitchen
The Puresome Kitchen Cobra Type Ver.2 replaces the head on a compatible kitchen faucet. Its white micro-sediment filter captures visible dust, rust and other particles, while the side control changes the spray to suit everyday rinsing and washing.

Kitchen Cobra Type Filter
One pack of six replacement filters for the Puresome Kitchen Cobra Type Ver.2. The tap attachment is sold separately.
Choose the tap when setting up your kitchen fitting for the first time. Choose the replacement filter pack when you already own the matching Cobra Type device.
Check the fit
Measure your kitchen tap connection first
Cobra Type Ver.2 has a 22mm internal female-thread connection with a 1.0mm thread pitch. Check that your faucet end can be unscrewed, then measure the connector and check its thread direction before ordering.
The device does not include an adapter. A female-thread faucet or a different-sized connection requires a suitable separately sourced adapter.
Cobra Type is the short round attachment. Kitchen Hand Type is a different device. For a fixed or unusual faucet, have a plumber or hardware specialist confirm the fitting before installation.

The short Cobra attachment fits onto compatible curved kitchen faucet outlets. Allow enough space below the outlet for the attachment and washing area.
The fixed pipe and L-shaped faucet examples below are unsuitable for the direct Cobra installation shown. Match the connection and faucet shape before choosing this attachment.

Capture particles before they reach the sink
The densely packed filter fibres capture visible rust, dust and other particles carried through older plumbing. Use the short Cobra Type filter for this housing; the longer Hand Type filter is a different size.
Spray control
Change the flow for each washing task
Use the side control to switch between the three spray settings. Choose the stream that suits rinsing food, washing dishes or cleaning around the sink.
The fine outlets shape the water into focused jets. Flow and pressure depend on your household supply and the tap setting.

Small outlets create a concentrated spray
The precision-made stainless-steel plate distributes water through closely spaced openings. This produces a fine spray for everyday kitchen rinsing.
Filter care
Use colour and flow as your replacement cues
Inspect the filter regularly. Fit a new one about every one to two months, or sooner if it turns dark brown or water flow becomes weak.
The shorter filter shown in the lower row is the Cobra Type. The photographs illustrate filter discolouration; check your own filter rather than waiting for a fixed colour on a fixed day.
How to install
Attach the Cobra head to the matching outlet
Remove the existing head
Turn off the water and unscrew the existing kitchen faucet head or end fitting.
Attach the Cobra Type
Screw the device onto the matching connector by hand. If your faucet needs an adapter, fit the separately sourced matching adapter first.
Check the seal
Run water to check the connection. Seat the rubber sealing ring correctly if there is leakage, then check again.
The installation diagram illustrates a fitted connection. An adapter is not included with the Cobra Type device.
Replace the filter
Keep the reusable head and change the cartridge
Open the head
Turn off the water and unscrew the head from its connector.
Insert the new filter
Remove the used filter and fit a matching Cobra Type cartridge with the five-star-shaped side facing inward.
Reassemble and rinse
Refit the head securely, run water and check for leaks before use.
