Korean lash serum is a cosmetic formula applied with a fine brush or wand to condition, coat or define the lashes. Depending on the product, it may be transparent, softly tinted or designed to sit beneath mascara. It should not be treated as a medical lash-growth product.

Clear lash serum adds no visible colour and is suited to transparent conditioning routines. Tinted lash serum leaves a soft black or coloured coating for extra definition. Compare the applicator, finish and stated use of each formula before choosing.

A tinted serum can give lashes a natural-looking dark finish and light definition, so it may be enough for a minimal makeup day. It may not create the same volume, length or hold as mascara unless the product specifically states those features.

Primer-style or under-mascara lash serum is normally applied first and allowed to dry before mascara. Some clear formulas are intended for a separate care routine instead. Follow the selected product’s instructions rather than using every serum in the same order.

Begin with clean, dry lashes. Remove excess from the wand, apply a thin coat only to the area directed on the product page and let it set. Keep the applicator away from the waterline and do not place formula directly inside the eye.

Use it only when the individual formula is stated to be compatible, and follow any waiting period or aftercare given by your lash technician. Apply gently without pulling extensions or repeatedly rubbing recently treated lashes.

Some formulas and applicators are suitable for eyebrow conditioning, but not every lash serum is labelled for brow use. Check the product directions before applying it beyond the eyelashes.

Follow the stated removal method for the formula. Use lukewarm water or a compatible eye-makeup remover when directed, soften the coating first and wipe gently without pulling the lashes. If product enters the eye or irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly and stop use.
