Should I choose a cushion, foundation or BB cream?

Choose a cushion for a compact-and-puff application you can carry with you. Choose liquid foundation or BB cream when you prefer to dispense and blend your own amount. Compare the individual formula's coverage, finish and shade range: the format name alone does not tell you how sheer, matte or glowing the result will be.

Do I need primer, powder and setting spray?

Give each step a job. Primer prepares the surface before your base; powder sets selected areas and adjusts the finish; setting spray finishes the completed makeup according to its directions. Start with the step that solves your actual application need, then add another only when it serves a purpose in your routine.

How do I choose between lip tint, balm, gloss and oil?

Start with the effect you want. Tints offer colour in water, matte, glossy and other textures. A balm is an easy care or colour step. Gloss and lip oil add a shiny finishing layer. Check pigment, finish and application separately, especially for peel-off and plumping formulas.

What is the difference between blush, contour and highlighter?

Blush adds colour, contour creates the appearance of shadow, and highlighter draws light to an area. Use each where you want that effect. A multi-use formula or palette can cover more than one job when its shades and approved application areas suit your look.

Can I buy a refill for any cushion compact?

Match the refill to the exact cushion range and compatible case. Shade, formula and compact compatibility are separate choices. On the product page, select the complete compact when you need a case, or the matching refill when you already own it.

Which remover should I choose for my makeup?

Choose a balm if you prefer a scoopable texture, or an oil for a fluid first cleanse. Follow each formula's emulsifying and rinsing directions. For mascara or other detailed eye makeup, use the removal method specified for that product, including a dedicated point remover when directed.

Make it yours

Get more from your makeup.

Explore Korean base, cheek, lip and eye makeup, alongside makeup tools and removers. Compare cushions, foundations, lip tints, blush and setting products with practical guides, then refine by product type, brand and price. Discover textures and shades for everyday looks and finishing touches that feel like you.

Choose coverage and finish as two separate decisions.

A light base can be matte or glowing; a fuller-coverage base can be either too. Separate how much you want to cover from how you want your skin to look in the light. That makes it easier to compare cushions, foundations, BB creams and tinted bases on equal terms.

Start with the areas you want to even out

If you like most of your skin showing through, begin with a thin complexion layer and add concealer only where you want extra coverage. If you prefer a more uniform base, choose a formula with the coverage level you need and blend its edges carefully.

Keep the finish flexible

You can leave the cheeks luminous while placing powder around the nose or another area that catches unwanted shine. Choose primer and finishing products for those local needs instead of adding every step across the whole face.

Check shade depth and undertone together

Compare swatches and shade descriptions for each range. Shade numbers are not universal across brands, and the right concealer for a small mark need not be the same shade you would choose for a brighter under-eye look.

Balance the intensity across lips, cheeks and eyes.

A coordinated makeup look does not need every feature to have the same colour or strength. Choose the feature you want to emphasise, then adjust the surrounding colours so the whole look feels intentional. The texture you choose matters as much as the shade.

Pick one place to build more colour

A stronger lip can sit with a sheer cheek and a fine liner. A more defined eye can sit with a softly blended balm or tint. Start lightly on the other areas and add colour only after you can see the balance.

Use one colour at different strengths

A lip-and-cheek formula makes it simple to coordinate shades. Tap a small amount across the cheeks and use more on the lips, or keep the lips sheer beside a brighter flush. Follow the formula's intended application areas.

Choose where you want reflection

Glossy lips, a balmy cheek and a shimmer eye each bring light into the look. You can combine them, or choose one reflective feature and keep the others softer. Compare matte, sheen and shimmer as deliberate finishing choices.

Give application and removal their own place in the routine.

The tools you use affect how easily you place and blend makeup. The remover you choose affects how you take it off. Plan both alongside your colour products so your routine is practical from the first application to the end of the day.

Match the tool to the texture

A brush spreads product with controlled strokes; a puff or sponge presses it into place. Choose the head shape for the areas you want to reach, and follow the applicator's dry or damp directions. Use a powered foundation tool only with its intended products and method.

Keep lash steps in the right order

Curlers, styling sticks, lift kits, mascara and sealers do different jobs. Read the sequence for the items you choose, especially the position of mascara in the routine. A treatment kit needs its own process rather than an everyday curler's technique.

Remove with the method the makeup needs

Massage and emulsify a suitable balm or oil as directed. Give dedicated eye removers the contact time they need, then remove gently. Clean reusable makeup applicators according to their care instructions so they are ready for your next use.
