Every other person praises Microneeedling - its benefits, what it does, how it helps, and so on! And we thought, well, lets try it out before we introduce it to our CocoFam. And what do you know? We fell in love with it too!

What exactly is micro-needling?
This is a cosmetic procedure of inserting fine, short, sterilized needles into the skin to help it rejuvenate itself. At home vs In-Office Microneedling?
One of the best benefits of micro-needling is that you can do it at home! All you need to ensure is that you have sterile needles, and you should avoid running them over zits and boils (this ensures that, in case they pop, you don't end up taking the bacteria all over your face!) Usually, the in-office treatment uses much sharper needles and creates slightly deeper micro-punctures on your skin. But the at-home ones are a lot more gentle and ensure that it is easier for beginners to use as well!
How long before you can see results?
Microneedling gives you fairly immediate results! You can look pink, luminous and glowy for a couple of weeks, with just one usage. But because your micro-needling gives effect only after your skin heals, the real results can be seen once you do a few sessions!
According to another study, skin when treated with 4 micro-needling sessions - one month apart each - gave a 400% increased collagen and elastin result - 6 months after the treatment was over!
But what's more? Using a serum or Ampoule along with the micro needling allows you to supercharge the effects. Basically, the small punctures allow the liquid to reach deep within the dermis and aid your skin from within! You can choose which Serum/Ampoule to use, based on which specific skin concern you are looking to target!
What's the after-treatment care that your skin needs?
Your skin doesn’t require too much extra care after your treatment. Just ensure that you don't expose your skin to high heat, or high sweat, on the day of the treatment. Also, don't wash your skin. Just load your skin up with some skin-loving products and let the treatment do its work!
